The Simplicity Basic Underpad by Covidien, acquired by Medtronic, is ideal for light absorbency needs with incontinence care and can be used for a number of other purposes. Simplicity Underpads have several layers beginning with a spunbound non-woven topsheet allowing fluids to pass through to be trapped in the fluff absorbent core. The backsheet is made of a polypropylene to create a barrier and stop leaks. The underpad also resists melting which is helpful when pad is in direct contact with sunlight.
